This DJ and producer originated from Cadiz and very closely tied into Malaga. He started his musical career at the age of 15 (in 1992), as a presenter of his own radio show “Zona Prohibida” (Prohibited Zone). He hosted the show from 92-95 and from 97-98 on Cadena Top Radio. In between the shows Jan-B held prestigious residencies all throughout Spain. In 1993 he started producing with his first group ANSALMA 3, in which they start producing Trance.

In 1998 his musical path crosses with Kultur. They quickly start sharing similar objectives and visions, for electronic music. Drawing up plans on getting the sound all through south of Spain and nationally. The two of them kick it right off.

In 1999 is when his production work starts getting published. At this same time he starts establishing close ties with EVASSION, the radio show. They start playing his sets week after week with great audience response. EVASSION had a listening audience of over 300,000 people per show and put Jan-B in the spotlight.

Enter his first maxi single “EAT THIS”, with great national acceptance and play in the U.S. and reaching up to #4 on the Australian dance charts Jan-B and Kultur were seeing there work pay off.

Jan-B has worked hard at his production skills throughout the years and it has shown with remixes done for SONY and BMG just to name a few. His tracks have been licensed throughout the world and has gained him global recognition with the amount of vinyl that has been sold.

Now a days Jan-B hosts the biggest radio show spotlighting Breaks in Spain. BEAT ZONE showcases the best DJ’s and producers breaks has to offer. BEAT ZONE has established itself as the show to listen to with the hard work of Kultur and Jan-B.
