Started his career as a DJ in 1982, playing in different places in Málaga, always trying to be in the avant-garde of electronic music.
Between 1984 and 1988 he collaborated with local experimental band Factoría Ribbentropp in the audio-visual area. In 1988 he started up 'SÍNDROME DE PLÁSTICO' (PLASTIC SYNDROME), a program in the now closed radio station RADIOCADENA ESPAÑOLA, covering the increasingly wide electronic scene (not only dance but also experimental and alternative). During this year the first RAVE in Málaga (and probably all over the south of Spain) was held at the ÉXTASIS disco, under the name ACID HOUSE NIGHT.

In 1989 his radio program gets into the programming of Radio 4 of Radio Nacional de España, extending its coverage to the entire Andalusia area, and DJ Kultür becomes the first DJ to play dance music in the Málaga Fair, in the section of 'Zona Oeste'.

In 1990, after leaving the radio show, he starts working in the most
prestigious record shop in town, Candilejas, leading the dance section, a position he still presently holds.

In 1992 he creates, with musician and long-time friend JOSUA, the techno project CULTURE KULTÜR, in which he gets free rein to his particular vision of electronic music. This same year he gets the first prize in a nationwide contest for 40 Principales (the spanish Top 40), thanks to his brilliant Pet Shop Boys Mega mix.

Between 1993 and 1998 his sessions could be heard mainly on private parties, but also several times in Satisfaxion and Evassion Planet events. In Barcelona he took part in the SONAR Festival of 1997, and in 1998 starts collaborating for the newborn program MUNDO EVASSION on Canal Sur (Southern Spain's most important station), lead by his 'brother' Daniel Moreno.

1999 is the year of his first vinyl release with Weekend-Breaks. The tracks name was "All Right Now" and instantly became a breaks classic.

At the moment, he continues collaborating with Mundo Evassion and the Evassion Planet collective, and unstoppably creating new tunes, making new productions and remixes along with DJ JAN-B and JOSUA. Kultur can be seen playing all throughout and Spain and at times in the U.S. His show is one surely not to miss, with his high energy vibe and influential sound.
